Office work added to performance criteria

Google is getting tougher on its policies and requires employees to work in the office at least three days a week. The company has even included office attendance data in the criteria for reviewing employee performance and will send reminders to “truants.”

Those who spend at least three days a week in the office feel more connected to other Google employees. Of course, not everyone believes in “magical conversations in the hallway,” but there is no doubt that working together in the office has a positive impact.
