Google has learned to generate product images based on descriptions for gift search
Google Search Generative Experience (SGE) search engine with artificial intelligence features will get new capabilities to help users search for gifts and purchases. In particular, the text description will create images of non-existent products that are similar to the ones you can buy.
When searching for gift ideas, Google will offer thematic collections and useful materials in specific categories. And if the user can’t find the product they need, they can describe it in text.
Based on this description, the system will generate a realistic image of a non-existent product. After that, SGE will offer similar real options for purchase from the Google Shopping catalog.
This should help in cases where a person knows exactly what they want but cannot find such a product on sale. The new feature will be available in the Google mobile app in December in the US.
Google has also expanded the possibilities of virtual clothing fittings for men before the holiday season. This will make it easier to choose gifts.
