Google started giving out unnecessary rewards to YouTube users

YouTube users who own a YouTube Premium subscription will be able to earn rewards while using the video platform. In addition, the microblogging service will record their achievements.

From time to time, you’ll see Congratulations! You can see the awards received from the video platform in the YouTube Premium benefits tab.

YouTube will reward paid subscribers for using various features such as picture-in-picture. In addition, awards will be given for various achievements such as 100 hours of listening to music tracks on YouTube Music.

It’s worth noting that users of the video hosting service won’t be able to benefit from the awards. Apparently, Google wants to use them to tell the user community about the features that YouTube Premium owners have access to.
