GUR MOU says Rushists make 40 missiles a month

Stock – for another 3-5 massed shelling

According to our intelligence, the production of X-101 missiles turned out to be twice as large as previously known

From February to December 2022, the Russian defense industry was able to produce as many as 240 Kh-101 air-based cruise missiles and about 120 Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles. Thus, the average monthly rate of production of KR in Russians is 40 units per month. Vadym Skibitskyi, deputy head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, stated this in a comment for the New York Times.

At the same time, the publication cites Skibitskyi’s assessment, according to which the Russians have a reserve of cruise missiles for at least 3-5 more massive missile strikes of Ukraine, for each of which 80-90 missiles can be used in each salvo.

In support of the thesis described above, the New York Times cites an assessment from the British group Conflict Armament Research, according to which the Russians used X-101 manufactured in October of this year for missile attacks on Ukraine in November 2022.

Which, in turn, means that Russia can continue the production of long-range cruise missiles, regardless of the entire complex of sanctions from the West.

In turn, the assessment by the representative of the GUR MOU Skibytsky that Russia can sustain the production rate of 40 cruise missiles per month, and that during the war the Russians managed to produce as many as 240 cruise missiles of the X-101 type – can be called sensational in its own way. Because as of November 22, 2022, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine gave a different estimate – for the entire duration of the war, the Rashi would produce only 120 missiles of the X-101 type.

And here there can be two assumptions. Or in the last 3 weeks, our intelligence has received more detailed data on the average production rate of cruise missiles at the facilities of the Russian defense industry. Or the Rashists have really forced the production of KR in the last few weeks for new attacks on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine.
