Hackers from Russia have declared war on the developer of HIMARS
The Killnet group from Russia announced the beginning of a ‘new level attack’ against Lockheed Martin. From the message released by the hackers, it appears that the attack against the North American defense giant began on August 1 at 07:00. Computer thieves cited the supply of HIMARS launchers to the Ukrainian army as the basis for the cyberattack.
The message emphasizes that Lockheed Martin works in the following industries: aircraft construction, shipbuilding, airport infrastructure, aerospace engineering and logistics.
HIMARS missile systems are actively used in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
The press service of the defense giant refused to comment on the fantasies of Russian hackers. All Lockheed Martin IT systems are functioning normally. The manufacturer of modern weapons did not detect any signs of a cyberattack from the outside.
The corporation is one of the Pentagon’s key contractors. In this regard, Lockheed Martin’s IT infrastructure is reliably protected.
