He turned out to be a “veteran of the Russian armed forces”: a lot of interesting things were found during searches at Shufrych’s place (photo)

During the search in the house of MP Nestor Shufrych, St. George’s ribbons, Russian medals, orders, coats of arms of the occupying country, and even military uniforms were found. This information was provided to LIGA.net by sources in the SBU.

According to the interlocutors, in addition to a “Russophile’s gentleman’s kit,” Shufrich was found to have a “victory commander” and “veteran of the Russian armed forces” certificate.

Shufrych was searched in the morning of September 15. The politician is suspected of high treason and working for former MP and Russian Federal Security Service agent Vladimir Sivkovich.

It is noted that the latter was in charge of the work of Russian agents in Ukraine from Moscow. It was Sivkovych who supervised the work of Oleh Kulinich, the head of the Crimean SBU office, who was detained in 2022.

It should be noted that Shufrych still heads the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Freedom of Speech.
