Healthy food for children: educational institution cooks will appear in Ukraine
Starting in September this year, vocational education institutions will start training specialists according to the new state standard “Cook of an educational institution”. This was announced by Iryna Shumik, Director General of the Directorate of Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education and Science, Ukrinform reports.
According to her, the reform of school meals is being implemented quite systematically.
“The Ministry of Education, together with the Reforms Delivery Office, is working on the implementation of the new standard “Cook of an educational institution”. This will be a completely new profession, and we are confident that we will start training such specialists in vocational education institutions in September,” said the representative of the Ministry of Education.
She also noted that the company has already approved a training program that covers all the necessary skills on the new equipment and with new recipe developers. We are currently working on relevant materials and disseminating best practices.
Earlier it was reported that students of vocational schools will be taught to fly civilian drones. The designated vocational schools have already received almost three dozen drones.
