“Hell’s Frying Pan”: Ukraine’s new electronic warfare system will suppress any Russian drones, even Lancets

The C-Vog Shield Mega jams the control channels of Mavic, Lancet, Zala, Supercam, and virtually all FPVs used by Russians in the war in Ukraine.

Antidrone Ukraine has developed the C-Vog Shield Mega suppressor capable of countering the dangerous Lancets and Zala used by the Russian military. The information was posted on the manufacturer’s Facebook page on Thursday, July 6.

The C-Vog Shield Mega is informally known as the “hell pan”. It suppresses the frequencies used by drones such as Mavic and almost all FPVs (except for unmanned aerial vehicles operating on non-standard frequencies). The anti-drone product also covers Lancet, Cube, Zala, and Supercam control frequencies. However, as the manufacturer notes, the “hellfire” is still ineffective for barricading UAVs.

Technical characteristics of C-Vog Shield Mega:

  • suppression ranges – 0.9/1.2/1.5/2.4/5.8;
  • power: 30/10/25/30/30/30/25 W;
  • total power – 120 W;
  • battery capacity – 20 Ah;
  • working time – from 2 to 4 hours;
  • weight – 2.45 kg.

The “anti-drone kit” offered by the manufacturer includes the C-Vog Shield Mega product itself, a mains charger, a battery in a pouch, a power cable (1.5 meters long), a charger, and a sealed case.

As a reminder, on July 5, the media reported that Ukraine had a new weapon against explosive drones of the Russian Armed Forces. The anti-drone device blocks the control channel of the enemy’s attack drone and thus disables it.

In addition, in early July 2023, it became known that Antidrone Ukraine had developed a new anti-drone gun that destroys dangerous Lancet UAVs. These Russian kamikaze drones are causing a lot of damage to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but now the soldiers will have a high-tech tool to fight them.
