Highway under water: new photos of the destruction of the Crimean Bridge have appeared

The company Maxar Technologies showed satellite images illustrating the process of repairing the crossing. Part of the freeway still lies in the sea, cars drive in two lanes.

The American technology company Maxar Technologies showed new satellite images of the destroyed Crimean bridge. The company published the photos on Twitter.

According to the company, the photos taken in Crimea show the repair process on the railway branch and the damaged sections of the Crimean Bridge road span.

In the Maxar images, you can see that part of the road bridge has collapsed and is under water. These pictures prove that the Crimean Bridge is not yet suitable for full use.

The metal structures of the bridge were severely bent after the explosion.

The Russians continue to restore the Crimean bridge after the explosion – for this, 250 people and 30 pieces of equipment were involved, the so-called deputy prime minister of the peninsula Marat Husnullin wrote in Telegram on October 12.

‘Yesterday, the floating cranes could not come to the work site due to a storm warning. Today, one came to the bridge, the second one is expected during the day,’ he informed.

It will be recalled that the Russian Federal Security Service accused the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyryll Budanov, of developing a plan to blow up the Crimean bridge.

The FSB suspects 8 people: five Russians and three citizens of Ukraine and Armenia. All of them are considered ‘accomplices of Budanov’.

Mykhailo Podolyak, the adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, stated that the explosion on the Crimean bridge could have happened because of a conflict between the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the FSB.

Andriy Yusov, a representative of the press center of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, called the accusation of Ukrainian military intelligence involvement in the undermining of the bridge nonsense. He wondered why Russian propagandists had not yet found Kirill Budanov’s business card at the scene of the explosion.
