HIMARS destroys enemy electronic warfare system “Zhytel” in Zaporizhzhia: occupants lost “eyes” and “ears”
In the Zaporizhzhia sector, Ukrainian troops destroyed the enemy’s Zhyttel electronic warfare system.
This is stated in a message from the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram on Friday, March 8.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine said that while conducting reconnaissance in the Zaporizhzhia sector, operators of reconnaissance UAVs of the Third Separate Regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine discovered the R-330 Zhyttel.
The SSO operators accompanied the important target for some time and provided information to the missile and artillery unit of the Defense Forces for further destruction.
The CCO noted that the Resident’s crew did not survive. The attack was carried out from a HIMARS MLRS.
