Hyundai has shown fully self-driving vehicles

Hyundai M.Vision TO and M.Vision HI are completely autonomous and are not equipped with any controls. They were equipped with innovative rotary motor-wheels.

The first photos of the Hyundai M.Vision TO and M.Vision HI concept cars have been published. Prototypes of self-driving cars will be presented in January at the CES show in Las Vegas. Their characteristics were revealed on Hyundai’s official Facebook page.

The new Hyundai M.Vision TO is an autonomous shuttle with sliding doors and a large area of glazing. External screens are installed on the body, on which advertising or other information can be projected. The interior has swivel chairs upholstered in wear-resistant material.

Hyundai M.Vision HI is the most luxurious drone with a clumsy futuristic design. More comfortable seats are installed in its cabin, and the windows work with holographic displays – passengers can watch videos or sit on the Internet.

Hyundai’s driverless electric vehicles are equipped with cameras, sensors and lidars (laser rangefinders). They have no steering wheel, pedals or any other controls. A motor is installed on each wheel, which is integrated into one module with brakes, steering control elements and suspension. The wheels can turn 90 degrees, which increases maneuverability in urban conditions, and also allows you to drive sideways and turn around on the spot.
