Hyundai unveils Main Battle Tank unmanned invisible tank concept
Hyundai is known as a car manufacturer, but within the wider Hyundai Motor Group there are many other companies specializing in various industries. One of its subsidiaries is Hyundai Rotem, which has introduced a futuristic tank with stealth technology.
Hyundai Rotem is a company specializing in the production of trains, products for auxiliary production lines, tanks, armored vehicles and unmanned weapons systems. The company’s new tank is unlike any traditional tank.
The next-generation Main Battle Tank has a clumsy design and is presented in light gray and pale cream shades. It also has a honeycomb pattern on most of the body, including the tower, to avoid detection by radar.
This tank is fully unmanned and has a tower controlled by a remote operator. It also has an active defense system against anti-tank attacks. The tank also works together with a multi-purpose reconnaissance drone.
“The new design, which takes advantage of stealth technology, was created in collaboration with Hyundai Motor and emphasizes the future of military equipment,” said a Hyundai Rotem spokesperson.
