I’m covered in blood. KORD detained a blogger from Poltava who spat and tried to humiliate military veterans (photo)

In the center of Poltava, law enforcement officers detained Instagram blogger and trainer Roman Zavoloka, who systematically insulted the military. He will soon be sentenced to a preventive measure.

On Tuesday evening, August 29, 27-year-old Roman Zavoloka was detained near the Coffee House on Sobornosti Street in Poltava. The photos from the scene show that during the arrest, the Poltava resident tried to resist law enforcement and was injured. It is known that the special police unit KORD worked together with the SBU.

Criminal cases were opened against Roman Zavoloka under several articles. The police under part. 2 of Article 296 (hooliganism), and the Poltava regional CCC and JV filed a statement with the SBU for insulting the military and denying Russia’s aggression (Articles 435-1 and 436-2 of the Criminal Code). It is not known exactly under what article the blogger was detained. The investigation is ongoing.

What is known about the scandal with the Poltava blogger

On August 29, a video of fitness trainer Roman Zavoloka getting into a conflict with employees of the SEC began circulating on social media. The video shows him insulting one of the soldiers, using foul language and spitting in his direction.

The journalists managed to find out that the military registration and enlistment office employee who was attacked by the blogger is Oleksandr Matsko, and he went to the front in 2014. During active hostilities in the Kharkiv sector, he hit a mine, sustaining burns, contusion and leg injuries. After that, the soldier was transferred to the TCC.
