Impressive speed: IAI Harop kamikaze drone presented in Israel

Israel Aerospace Industries presented the long-range barrage munition IAI Harop. It impresses with its top speed of 417 km/h.

The IAI Harop is a barrage munition produced based on the experience of developing and using another drone of this type. The kamikaze drone is designed to engage both land and sea targets at a distance of up to 1000 km.

The drone can fly for 6 hours, constantly searching for targets in a given area or along a route. The top speed is 417 km/h. The weight of the warhead is 16 kg. An error is possible if the target is within 5 meters.

The Harop barrage munition can be launched from transport and launch containers placed on land and sea platforms. A smaller version called the Mini Harop was also built, which was characterized by lower tactical and combat characteristics. Harop is used in countries such as Israel, Singapore, India, Morocco, and Azerbaijan.
