In Lviv, a man was brutally detained by TCC and JV employees, to which the management again responded nominally with a promise of an investigation

On Friday evening, March 15, an event occurred in Lviv that caused a wide resonance. Employees of the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCC and SS) detained a man of military age with the use of force, which became known thanks to the detainee’s wife, Violetta Taran. She told on Instagram about the incident with the detention of her husband Kyrylo Taran, during which he was physically injured and his personal belongings were damaged. The incident was documented on surveillance video.

Artur Niyazov, the head of the Lviv Regional TCC and JV, responded to this situation by announcing in an interview with Zaxid.net his intention to conduct an internal investigation and bring the perpetrators to justice. By the way, preliminary “intentions” to investigate other high-profile kidnappings are still unknown. Violetta Taran noted that at the time of her husband’s detention, he was not served with a summons, and during his detention in the Shevchenkivskyi TCC and JV, he was ordered to be mobilized without passing the relevant commission.

It is also reported that Kyrylo Taran is a volunteer and that this detention is a custom-made one. “Someone didn’t like something about the volunteer’s actions.”

This incident caused a significant public outcry and raised questions about the actions of TCC and JV employees in their treatment of citizens. The video shows obvious violations by the security forces. Today, it should be clarified that the Ukrainian authorities are intimidating people in this way, cracking down on “inconvenient” people, which leads to extremely low motivation for Ukrainian men to join the army. Abductions of men on the streets are happening everywhere in Ukraine.
