In the Czech Republic, two Ukrainian women were brutally beaten after learning their nationality

In the Czech Republic, a man attacked two women after learning that they were Ukrainian citizens.

The incident took place on Sunday, August 13.

According to the Czech newspaper, two women were sitting and talking on the sidewalk when a car drove up and the driver asked if they were from Ukraine. When Lilia and her friend Tetiana nodded their heads, he drove a little further and immediately returned to them.

After that, the man brutally attacked the Ukrainian women. As a result, one of the women was taken to the hospital with a broken face.

“The kids and I went to the carousel. Then Lilya and I sat on the sidewalk and talked. A Skoda Octavia with a trailer drove up to us, and the man behind the wheel asked if we were from Ukraine. Then he drove a few meters away, left the car running and came back to us,” the Ukrainian woman described the situation that preceded the attack.

According to the woman, the unidentified man first started cursing them and then attacked them.

“First, they hit me three times in the face. Then he started pulling my hair to lift me up. He immediately attacked Lilya,” Tatiana described the events.

She said that she then ran to the attacker’s car and pulled the key out of the ignition to prevent him from driving away.

“I was about to call the police when two other men came up behind me and hit me in the back, causing me to drop my key on the ground. The attacker picked it up, got into his car and drove away. Two young girls and a boy were already walking towards us and called the police and an ambulance because Lilya was lying on the ground, bleeding from her face,” said Tatiana.

The second victim remembers little.

“I remember three blows,” the Ukrainian woman said.

She regained her memory only in the hospital.

According to a medical report, she was diagnosed with an open fracture of the jaw, as well as fractures of the cheekbones and nasal bones.

The police are making efforts to uncover all the circumstances of this incident.
