In Ukraine, a unique drone was created to hunt for ‘shaheds’ (video)
Ukrainian engineers designed a high-speed kamikaze quadcopter. It can be used not only for striking enemy armored vehicles and destroying manpower in dugouts, but also for intercepting ‘shaheeds’. According to the developers, high-class operators will be needed to control the high-speed drones of the Armed Forces.
The high-speed drone was developed by specialists of the school of quadcopter pilots in several modifications. According to the head of the school, Vladyslav Plaksin, large UAVs are capable of destroying enemy armored vehicles. Drones with small dimensions can be used to smoke out occupants from dugouts.
The development of flying machines is financed by the philanthropist Andrii Matsola. According to the entrepreneur, when he was shown the capabilities of drones designed in Ukraine, he immediately understood that they have a future.
Drone operators at school are initially trained using simulators. This is followed by classes at the training ground. Operators learn to drop munitions from the air. Within three months, Matsola plans to hand over at least 100 powerful quadcopters to the Ukrainian army. The school will train 100 qualified operators to manage them.
