Instagram allows you to upload Reels videos directly through the app
Instagram users were able to download Reels videos to their devices directly through the social network’s app. Previously, this required third-party services.
To download the video, tap the Share button and select Download. After that, the video will be added to the gallery of your phone or tablet. In this case, a watermark with the author’s Instagram ID will appear on it. Only videos published in public (not private) accounts will be available for download in this way.
“By the way, public accounts can disable the ability for people to download their videos – if a video you like is not downloadable, you can still tap the three dots and save it to watch it later in the app,” said Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri in the IG Updates channel.
Earlier, Instagram introduced this feature for users from the United States of America. Now it is available to everyone.
