Instead of Luhansk, he came to Avdiivka, where he died: GPS-navigator led a Sevastopol resident to the wrong place

A resident of Sevastopol arrived in Avdiivka instead of Luhansk due to a faulty GPS navigator, where he died.

This was reported by the Russian Telegram channel BAZA.

According to the resource, the episode took place on the night of October 20.

The 40-year-old man and his 65-year-old mother left Sevastopol for Luhansk in a Chevrolet Aveo.

Around noon, they were already in the Donetsk area, but then they lost their way: the navigator led them to the Donetsk-Avdiivka highway, which is located almost on the contact line.

As they were passing the village of Spartak, six kilometers from Avdiivka, an unidentified munition exploded near the vehicle. The man was killed in the explosion, his mother was practically uninjured, BAZA reports.
