Israel strikes at Syria’s military targets: there are dead and wounded

The Israeli army attacked the military infrastructure and weapons of the SAR. According to the Syrian Defense Ministry, eight soldiers were killed in the shelling.

IDF attacks Syrian military facilities. This was announced on October 25 by the press service of the Israeli Defense Forces on social media.

“Recently, IDF fighter jets struck military infrastructure and mortar launchers belonging to the Syrian army,” the publication says.

The Israeli army emphasized that the shelling was a response to attacks from Syria.

The SAR Ministry of Defense confirmed the strikes on October 25.

“Today, at approximately 01:45, the Israeli enemy launched an air strike from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting a number of our military positions in the countryside of Daraa,” the Syrian Defense Ministry said.

The press service added that eight Syrian soldiers were killed in the shelling. Another seven soldiers were wounded.

On October 12, the Israeli Air Force attacked airports in Syria. It was reported that the IDF’s goal was to disrupt Iranian supply lines.

Earlier, on October 10, Syria shelled Israeli territory. The IDF said that some of the launched shells crossed the country’s border and fell “in the open.” The Israeli army retaliated.

Recently, on October 24, US bases in Syria were attacked by drones. According to media reports, U.S. intelligence had information about plans by Iranian-backed militants to intensify their activities in Syria.
