It looks like a “shaitan pipe”: Hamas uses Mutabar-1 remote-controlled air defense system

Hamas militants use improvised air defense systems. The Mutabar-1 looks like a “shaitan pipe”. At first glance, it may seem that the air defense system is analogous to the Grad-P man-portable system, but this is not the case.

The launchers mounted on the carriages can be controlled remotely. Mutabar-1 uses rockets or missiles with an unknown guidance principle to hit targets.

The range of ammunition used in tandem with improvised air defense systems is unknown, as is their effectiveness. The concept of the launcher looks primitive.

Iran also has improvised air defense capabilities. This refers to the 358 anti-aircraft missile, which the Kremlin is interested in. It is not equipped with classical guidance tools. The missile is launched on the principle of “to the other side”.
