The US elections are gradually accelerating and bringing surprises at the very beginning. According to the pro-Republican Fox News channel, President Joe Biden’s campaign on Monday launched an account on Truth Social, a social media platform owned by another candidate, Donald Trump.
“Well. Let’s see how it goes. Welcome converts!” the representatives of the current US president wrote in the first post of @BidenHQ. This is a very interesting step on their part, given that Truth Social is a center of Republicans, Trump fans, radicals, and other very “interesting” personalities that the former president has gathered around him.

With the new page, the campaign will try to reach out to conservative voters who exist in their own information bubble and refute any “lies and disinformation” related to Biden on the platform. So far, the page has posted several videos in which Republican primary candidates such as Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley attack Trump on issues such as the federal debt or his comments on the war in Israel.
Meanwhile, Trump campaign spokesman Stephen Cheung told Fox on Monday: “Crook Joe Biden and his team are finally recognizing that Truth Social is hot as a button and the only place where real news happens. Unfortunately for Biden, his continued spreading of disinformation to deceive the American people and divert attention from his disastrous reputation will not work, and they will fade into oblivion“.
