Kamikaze anti-radar UAVs took part in the attack on S-400 (video)

On the night of September 14, the S-400 air defense system was successfully attacked in the suburbs of Yevpatoriya. As it turned out, special kamikaze UAVs capable of automatically targeting enemy radar took part in the attack on the newest Russian complex. The SBU hinted at this.

Anti-radar kamikaze drones were used to disable the radar of the anti-aircraft complex. They were launched by SBU counterintelligence officers. After the radar was destroyed, the Navy stepped in. They attacked the S-400 with two Neptune cruise missiles.

The success of the attack was largely due to the use of special UAVs. An airplane-type drone with a sonar was detected in Yevpatoriya. This fact is confirmed by the use of long-range kamikaze drones by the initiators of the attack.

It is worth noting that an anti-radar drone is not a know-how. Such aircraft are used by many armies around the world. In 1989, the Israeli company IAI introduced the Harpy barrage munition. It was originally designed to destroy radar. The Harpy is equipped with a passive anti-radar GPR, which allows it to accurately defeat enemy radars.
