Kamikaze drone Switchblade 300 for $6000 hits Russian anti-aircraft missile system “Wasp” (video)

The Switchblade 300 kamikaze drones continue to demonstrate their effectiveness. The Armed Forces of Ukraine hit the Russian army’s Osa anti-aircraft missile system.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces discovered two anti-aircraft missile systems. The defeat of one of them can be seen in the first video below. The second Switchblade 300 tried to attack another Wasp SAM, but failed. Footage of the remains of the kamikaze drone can be seen in the second video below.

Switchblade 300 is a barrage munition developed by the American company AeroVironment. The first kamikaze drones were handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the spring of 2022. In total, the Defense Forces received about 1000 of these devices.

The cost of one complex is $60,000. It consists of 10 kamikaze drones. AeroVironment recently received funds to produce the first Switchblade 300 barrage munitions for France.
