Latvia to send Ukraine another batch of cars confiscated from drunk drivers

The Latvian government has decided to transfer another batch of cars confiscated from drunk drivers to Ukraine. They will be delivered to our country by the so-called “Twitter convoy”
This is reported by Delfi with reference to the LETA agency.

It is noted that Latvia will transfer to Ukraine a batch of 14 cars with a total market value of more than 100 thousand euros.

In particular, nine vehicles are intended for army units of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, a municipal medical enterprise in Izyum district of Kharkiv region, Arbuzyn village council of Mykolaiv region, a military unit of the National Guard, Kamyanets-Podilskyi district council of Khmelnytskyi region and Kitaigorodskyi village council of Khmelnytskyi region.

In addition, the day before, the Latvian government allocated 15.6 million euros to municipal authorities to cover the costs incurred in the process of receiving and supporting refugees from Ukraine.
