Like a flying saucer: Axiom Space shows the process of assembling the first module for the space station

The Italian company Thales Alenia Space (a contractor of the American Axiom Space) has published images from the production of the main structures of the first Axiom space module, Hub 1.

When the module parts are ready, they will be delivered to the Axiom Space facility in Houston, Texas, USA, where they will be integrated with each other. In some pictures taken from a certain angle, parts of the module resemble a flying saucer.

The company plans to launch the first space module to the International Space Station in 2026.
