Mark Zuckerberg wants to create artificial intelligence that will not be inferior to human intelligence
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated that the company plans to develop powerful artificial intelligence on par with human intelligence and open source (AGI). This approach will allow any developers and the public to work with such technology, customizing and adapting such systems to their tasks.
Zuckerberg’s statement alarmed the public – in fact, it is about creating an AI that is as human-like as possible, which Zuckerberg confirmed in a recent interview. And open source will make it possible to make AGI systems as autonomous as possible in principle. Or combine such systems to enhance their capabilities.
This is what worries the expert community: such AI can simply get out of human control. But, according to Zuckerberg, this is his goal, which is why the head of Meta was called reckless and not assessing risks.
“This technology is so important and its capabilities are so great that we need to open source it and make it as widely available as possible,” said the head of the American company.
