Massive missile attack on Kyiv causes internet outages
On the morning of January 2, Kyiv experienced the largest Internet outage in recent months. This was reported by the Netblocks service.
The reason was a missile attack by the Russian Federation aimed at the civilian and critical infrastructure of the Ukrainian capital.
Internet access in Kyiv has dropped to 80% of normal levels.
The Netblocks service has published an infographic demonstrating the decline in internet availability in Kyiv over the past 24 hours. According to the service, the outage began at 6:15 a.m.
