Maxar published satellite photos of the line to say goodbye to Elizabeth II in London

The company Maxar Technologies has published satellite photos of the queue for farewell to the British Queen Elizabeth II, reports Space.com.

A queue of thousands of people lines the Thames in central London, pushing against the Palace of Westminster, where the coffin containing the Queen’s body is on display. The farewell will continue until September 18th, with the funeral scheduled for Monday, September 19th. The photo of the queue was taken on September 16.

Hundreds of portable toilets have been installed for those waiting in line, a wristband system has been set up, and 1,000 security officers and volunteers are monitoring. Waiting time in the queue can reach 24 hours.
