Asset Recovery and Management Agency sells confiscated property of Viktor Medvedchuk, a suspect in high treason: Maybach car and collectible watches

“At a meeting of the Commission for the competitive selection of legal entities engaged in the sale of seized assets, ARMA decided to sell Medvedchuk’s property: an expensive MAYBACH car and 20 collectible wristwatches,” the statement said.
The property will be sold on a competitive basis: documents for participation must be submitted by April 19. The winner will be announced on April 25. The seized property will be sold on the Prozorro.Sale platform in accordance with European law.
In September 2022, the court finally banned the activities of the OPFL party, of which Viktor Medvedchuk was one of the leaders.
On September 21, 2022, Medvedchuk was exchanged for captured Ukrainian defenders. He is currently in Russia.
In January 2023, the Verkhovna Rada deprived Medvedchuk of his mandate. Also, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy deprived him of his citizenship. In February 2023, Medvedchuk filed a lawsuit against the Rada to declare the procedure for depriving him of his parliamentary mandate illegal.

On May 24, 2023, the Qualification and Disciplinary Commission of the Kyiv Region Bar Association disbarred Viktor Medvedchuk from practicing law.
In June 2023, the SBI transferred 17 vehicles seized from Medvedchuk’s and Kozak’s relatives to a brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The cost of the vehicles is $1.1 million.
On May 24, 2023, he was deprived of the status of a lawyer and, accordingly, the right to practice law.
On August 9, 2023, it became known that Medvedchuk had filed a lawsuit against the decision of the Disciplinary Chamber of the Qualification and Disciplinary Commission of the Kyiv Region Bar to disbar him.
