Microsoft has blocked the ability for Russians to download Windows 10 and 11. These versions of the operating system are now not available in Russia.

Also, Vladimir Putin’s subjects cannot download the application of the American corporation’s Media Creation Tool. An error 404 occurs when trying to download the application – ‘File or Directory not found’.
So far, there have been no official statements from developers about blocking the operating system in Russia. It should be noted that Microsoft supported sanctions against the aggressor country at the beginning of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The company has announced a significant reduction in its business in Russia. Microsoft will also provide assistance to Ukraine in rebuilding the IT industry. The company will cooperate with Ukraine in the field of documenting Russian war crimes.
