Milkor 380, the world’s most advanced combat drone, was shown at the international defense exhibition

South African defense company Milkor presented the Milkor 380 UAV at the World Defense Show 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The developers have called the drone “the most advanced combat drone to date.” More information about the device is provided by Army Recognition Group.

The developers state: Milkor 380 can perform a wide range of tasks: from surveillance and reconnaissance to attacks. It is equipped with the latest stealth technologies, making it virtually invisible to radar systems. The UAV is operated by an artificial intelligence system.

Milkor 380 can be armed with a set of high-precision ammunition. In turn, this allows it to hit targets with high accuracy and minimal damage. By precision-guided munitions, engineers mean some missile systems and “smart” bombs designed to strike both military vehicles and infantry.

The company emphasizes the drone’s endurance and versatility. It can make long flights, operate in different climatic conditions in any terrain – from arid deserts to dense forests.
