Minus one boat, the DIU showed footage of the liquidation of an enemy vessel in Crimea (video)

On May 6, reconnaissance hit a Russian speedboat in the temporarily occupied Crimea. A Magura V5 maritime drone was used for the attack.

The intelligence confirmed that during the operation, a unit of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine “Group 13” destroyed a speedboat of the Russian invaders with a Magura V5 strike marine drone.

As the fear of Ukrainian attacks forces the occupiers to hide large Black Sea Fleet ships away from the peninsula, combat work continues on high-speed maneuverable Russian warships that are illegally in Ukrainian territorial waters of Crimea,” the description under the video reads.

What is known about the GUR’s attack on the Russian boat with a Magura drone

The attack by a Magura V5 marine drone took place in the area of Vuzka Bay (Chornomorske district) on the night of May 6. The Russians claimed that last night off the western coast of the peninsula they allegedly managed to “destroy” up to 5 unmanned boats, which they say “belong to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.” The enemy also confirmed the information that the attack took place in the area of Chornomorske.

It is worth reminding that Magura V5 unmanned maritime drones have already sunk more than one Russian ship. They have already succeeded in destroying the Ivan Khurs reconnaissance ship, the Ivanovets missile boat, the Caesar Kunikov large amphibious assault ship, the Sergey Kotov project 22160 patrol ship, and damaging other vessels of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
