Minus Zoo radar and two companies of soldiers: Ukrainian Armed Forces make significant progress in the Tauride sector (video)

As noted by the commander of the Tavria group of troops, General Oleksandr Tarnavsky, Ukrainian defenders are skillfully driving the enemy from their positions and inflicting significant damage on the occupiers in terms of both equipment and manpower.

Ukraine’s defense and security forces continue to make progress in the Tauride sector, where Russian occupation forces suffered heavy losses over the past day. This was announced on Wednesday, July 5, by the commander of the Tavria group of troops, General Oleksandr Tarnavsky.

According to the general, Ukrainian defenders completed 1,541 firing missions and destroyed 25 units of enemy military equipment.

Tarnavskyi emphasized that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are systematically driving the enemy out of their positions in the Tauride sector and continue to make progress. At the same time, the Russian invaders suffered significant losses over the day, amounting to more than two companies of soldiers.

How much military equipment was actually destroyed in the Tauride sector
The following losses were recorded among the destroyed enemy military equipment:

  • 2 armored personnel carriers (APCs);
  • 3 D-30 guns;
  • 2A36 Hyacinth-B gun;
  • 9K330 Tor anti-aircraft missile system;
  • Zoopark radar station;
  • vehicles and 9 ammunition depots.

On July 5, the commander of the Terra intelligence unit Mykola Volokhov noted the positive dynamics in the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Donbas and allowed for the imminent liberation of Bakhmut.

On June 5, Russian propagandists also reported that Russian troops were probably forced to withdraw from the village of Klishchiyivka, which would put Bakhmut under the fire control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
