monobank allowed to transfer currency to relatives without commission

On June 21, monobank launched a new service for its customers. From that day on, you have the opportunity to transfer dollars or euros to your relatives and friends on the card.

But this is possible if you send the bank a photo of the documents to confirm the relationship with the person.

Currency transfers to the monobank card can be made for spouses and children, parents and guardians, siblings, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, grandchildren, grandparents up to the second generation.

A photo of the proof of kinship should be sent to the monobank support service in the mobile application. Alternatively, documents may include a birth or marriage certificate. The bank then checks the family ties of customers and allows you to transfer currency.

It should be noted that the bank will not charge a fee for such transfers. It is also important to remember that you need to send money to the card whose currency corresponds to the currency of sending. Otherwise – the money will come to the card with the hryvnia.
