In the Liman-Kupyansk sector, Russia has amassed more than 110,000 troops and formed a concentration of forces in the direction of Novoyehorivka.
This was reported by Ilya Yevlash, head of the press service of the Eastern Military Group, on Espresso TV.
“Quite heavy, intense fighting is taking place along the entire contact line with the enemy in the area of responsibility of the Eastern group of troops. The largest number of Russian occupation troops is now in the Liman-Kupyansk sector – more than 110 thousand,” he emphasized.
It is noted that the Russian Federation is actively deploying in the direction of Novoyehorivka. On August 31 alone, the enemy launched nine air strikes, the Russians conducted eight assaults and fired 46 times at the settlement.
Most of the destroyed enemy tanks, including six out of seven, were neutralized near Novoyehorivka.
