NASA shows the “heart” of the Gateway lunar station (photo)

The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration has published a photo of the HALO module (Habitation and Logistics Outpost), which will become the “heart” of the Gateway lunar orbital station.

Engineers of the Franco-Italian company Thales Alenia Space have completed all welding work. In the near future, the module will undergo a series of tests, after which it will be sent to the United States to be filled with equipment.

The launch of the HALO residential module and the PPE electric motor is scheduled for the end of 2025.

They are to be launched into space by SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy rocket.
