Netflix reveals “secrets”: what viewers have chosen most often over the past six months

Streaming service Netflix has published its first report on the views of its content during the first half of the year. In total, people have spent almost 100 billion hours watching on the platform during this time.

The political thriller series The Night Agent was the most watched, with 812 million hours spent on it. Other new series were also popular: “Diplomat, Beef, Glory, Alpha Male, etc;

The second season of the comedy-drama series Jeannie and Georgia took the second place with a total of 665 million hours of viewing. South Korean drama series Glory rounds out the top three with 622 million hours of viewing. Next are Venzday (507 million hours) and Queen Charlotte (503 million hours).

“We believe that the viewing information in this report… will give creators and our industry a deeper understanding of our audience and what resonates with them,” Netflix wrote.

One third of views are for non-English language content, and viewers also like to watch older content.
