New car numbers will appear in Ukraine – MIA
The changes apply to cars that will be issued online and through the “Diia” application.
This is stated in the relevant order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the press service of the department writes.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has approved changes to the requirements for state license plates of vehicles.
According to the document, license plates of cars issued online or through the “Diia” application will use the following designations instead of the first two letters that indicate the region:
- “ED”, “DC” – will receive cars registered using the means of the driver’s electronic office of the functional subsystem of the Unified State Register of the unified information system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
- “DI”, “PD” – will receive cars registered through the Unified State Web Portal of Electronic Services, in particular using the mobile application of the “Diia” portal.
