New from Brave1: “armored wheels” for combat pickups that drive despite a punctured wheel
The Brave1 defense cluster has developed “armored wheels” for combat pickup trucks – RunFlat. In fact, these are special inserts for car tires that allow the car to continue driving even after a puncture or damage to the tires.
The use of RunFlat can be especially relevant during the evacuation of the wounded, the execution of a combat mission or the delivery of provisions to the Ukrainian Defense Forces. In case of tire damage, the military does not need to stop and put themselves in danger. A special insert will allow you to continue driving to a safe place.
According to the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukrainian RunFlat inserts are not inferior to world models and are made of materials that are not prone to premature destruction.
He also states that the development team is currently planning to launch mass production and intends to expand the model range to include large armored vehicles.
