New Lenovo gaming monitor with 165Hz miniLED display introduced
The Legion Y34w is Lenovo’s latest gaming monitor in its home market of China. The device provides maximum immersion in the gaming experience thanks to its WQHD resolution with upgraded miniLED technology, 21:9 aspect ratio and 1500R curvature.
Lenovo’s line of monitors with a 165Hz refresh rate and miniLED technology has been expanded with the Legion Y34w model. As the name implies, the new product has a 34-inch widescreen for fast and high-quality content playback.
The monitor is equipped with a number of ports, including HDMI 2.1/USB Type-C (the latter guarantees charging with an adapter with a power of up to 140W inclusive).
Features include support for DCI-P3 and sRGB standards with delta-E deviation <2. These capabilities can be enhanced with HDR1000 technology and ~2 milliseconds (ms) response time with AMD FreeSync support.
The above types of ports are adjacent to two Type A connectors, one DisplayPort 1.4, one Ethernet, and one Type B.
The price of the Y34w in China is ¥4699, but during a short promotional period, you can buy the new product for ¥2999. In terms of dollars, these values are $655 and $418, respectively.
