Night attack by UAVs: Russian Armed Forces strike at dormitories near Kyiv, causing casualties (photos)

According to rescuers, the attack partially destroyed the 4th and 5th floors of two five-story dormitories and a three-story educational building of a vocational lyceum. People are still trapped under the rubble.

On the night of March 22, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with Shahed attack drones. As a result, a civilian facility was damaged in the Kyiv region. According to preliminary reports, three people were killed and seven others were injured. This was reported by the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

The agency said that a fire broke out at the site of the impact, but it was extinguished. Rescuers, police and emergency services continue to work there. The victims are being helped.

For its part, the SES clarified that the “arrival” was recorded in the city of Rzhyshchiv, Kyiv region. As a result, the 4th and 5th floors of two five-story dormitories and a three-story educational building of a vocational lyceum were partially destroyed.

As of 07:00, three people were killed, two people were injured, and one person was rescued from the rubble. Four people are likely to be trapped under the rubble.

At the same time, the Kyiv City Military Administration added that on the night of March 22, 8 enemy Shahed drones flew around Kyiv, but Ukrainian air defense managed to shoot them all down. The last air raid in the city lasted about 4 hours.

“I strongly emphasize to all Kyiv residents – clearly and strictly follow the requirements for the procedure of actions in case of receiving a signal about the threat of air strikes,” said the head of the Kyiv City State Administration Serhiy Popko.

In addition, Vitaliy Bunechko, head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, said that one infrastructure facility was damaged as a result of the nighttime Russian shelling. However, three UAVs were shot down by air defense units, and there were no casualties.

The Air Force summarized the night attacks by the Russian Armed Forces: 21 drones were launched by the occupiers from the Bryansk region, 16 of them were destroyed.

As a reminder, on March 21, Russia fired missiles from Su-35 at Odesa. As a result, a dormitory of the UOC-MP monastery was damaged. Fighter jets launched 4 missiles from the Black Sea, and Ukrainian air defense forces shot down half of them.

On March 20, the Russian Armed Forces fired missiles at Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. According to Mayor Oleksandr Goncharenko, nine multi-storey buildings were damaged as a result of the shelling.
