On the occasion of the 100th anniversary, Disney will re-release the animated films “Wayana”, “Zootopia” and “Frozen” in Ukrainian cinemas
This year, Disney Studio celebrates its 100th anniversary. To mark the occasion, exclusive screenings of three of the studio’s animated hits are planned in Ukrainian cinemas: those who wish to watch the animated films “Wayan”, “Zootopia” and “Frozen” will be able to re-watch them to bring back pleasant memories and find new meanings in the familiar stories.
In Ukrainian cinemas, the re-release of animated films Wayana (2016), Zootopia (2016) and Frozen (2013) will start on October 14.

Briefly what cartoons are about
“Wayana” tells the story of a brave girl who embarks on a long journey across the open ocean to save her people and find what she has always wanted – the real her. Along the way, she meets the once-powerful demigod Maui, who becomes her mentor and helps her cope with huge monsters and other difficulties.
“Zootropolis” shows a modern metropolis that is completely unlike any other. A city where animals from different environments live together. A city where, no matter who you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything you want. This is a story about a rookie officer, Judy Hopes, who becomes the first rabbit in a police force staffed by big, strong animals. In order to prove herself, she jumps at the chance to solve a complicated case, even if it means working with the foxy fraudster Nick Krutikhvost.
“Frozen is a fairy tale story of Anna and Elsa, two sisters from the magical kingdom of Arendelle who would do anything for each other. Together with the rugged mountaineer Christoph and his faithful reindeer Sven, as well as a funny snowman named Olaf, they conquer their own Everest and fight the elements in an effort to save the kingdom.
100th anniversary of Disney
On October 16, 1923, brothers Walter and Roy Disney founded a small animation studio, Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio, which has gone a long way to become one of the largest entertainment corporations in the world. 100 years is a lot and a little at the same time. Today, everyone associates Disney, whose influence on pop culture is hard to overestimate, with various works of art and childhood memories.
