OnlyFans paid VAT to the Ukrainian budget for the first time – a known amount
For the first time, the subscription service for erotic content OnlyFans transferred funds to the state budget of Ukraine – 305 thousand dollars (about 9 million hryvnias).
The chairman of the tax committee of the Verkhovna Rada Danilo Getmantsev wrote about it.
“The first budget revenues from the Google tax: the site OnlyFans – 305 thousand dollars. The contribution of the entertainment industry in financing our victory. We expect the next,” – wrote the people’s deputy.
The OnlyFans platform charges users for access to authors’ content and is popular primarily for adult entertainment and erotic content.
A content creator subscriber can view their content in exchange for a monthly membership fee. The company pays 80% of the fee to the content creator, 20% – goes to the platform.
In June last year, the Verkhovna Rada passed a bill №4184, which, in particular, obliges Internet giants operating in Ukraine to pay taxes to the Ukrainian state budget.
