Opera offers a dream job: for $10,000 a week you need to surf the Internet on an island near Iceland

The Opera browser is looking for an employee who will be responsible for browsing the web, with a salary of $10,000 and excellent working conditions on a remote island off the coast of Iceland.

The company wrote about this on its official website.

The Scandinavians are known to have invented hygge, a way of life that promotes comfort and well-being. Opera has implemented this concept in its browser interaction. The developers have done everything possible to make their product as convenient as possible.

Tab sorting, an intuitive interface, a pleasant design, and other innovations were created by the hugely inspiring Valgardur Gladversson, who retired to an abandoned volcanic island off the coast of Bjarnarey, Iceland, studying how to bring “Scandinavian coziness” to Internet surfing.

“For a long time I have been thinking about the main questions of life: why are we born? Where do we go when we die? How do I keep track of so many tabs? With Opera, I have achieved such harmony in both the digital and physical worlds, but now I need a vacation and someone to take on the role of Tabfulness guru while I’m away,” commented Valgardur.

Now Opera is looking for a replacement. The applicant is required not to be afraid of winds, strange sheep, and to love fish and crispy knöckebrod bread.

You can apply until February 25 to view Opera web pages from the windswept shores of Iceland and earn $10,000 for doing so.
