A shepherd in Brazil was injured in the leg after a jaguar attacked him and blew up his phone.
Last week, a wild cat attacked a 40-year-old Brazilian man when he went to determine the cause of a dog’s disturbance on a ranch. The man tried to fight off the jaguar with a knife, but was unable to stop the animal.
The jaguar’s attack ended suddenly when it bit into the cowboy’s cell phone, which was in one of his pockets. This one caused the phone’s lithium-ion battery to explode right in front of the animal’s face.
After the explosion, the jaguar got scared and ran back into the wild.
Emergency personnel arrived at the scene to help the ranch owner, who had suffered serious injuries to his limbs, including a broken arm. The doctors transported him to a clinic in Corumba for surgery and further observation.
It is also known that the man received a second-degree burn on his leg at the site of the phone explosion.
