Piece quantity: the Armed Forces shot down a rare Russian Corsair drone (photo)

The drone is not even in service with the Russian Armed Forces yet, it was supposed to enter the army in 2025. It was developed by the Russian Design Bureau ‘Promin’ from Rybinsk.

The Ukrainian military shot down the Russian Corsair drone, several of which were released in the Russian Federation. This is reported by an expert in unmanned aviation with the nickname ‘External Pilot’.

Photos of the downed Corsair drone were published. However, the author notes that the pictures are not the most recent. At the same time, the UAV could exist in the Russian Federation in a single copy. ‘Corsair’ is a short-range Russian reconnaissance UAV developed by Promin Design Bureau from Rybinsk.

In the Russian ‘Wikipedia’ they write that the drone made its first flight in 2015, and it was supposed to enter the army in 2025. They wanted to make it percussion.

Ukraine Weapons Tracker analysts also note that the Russian ‘Corsair’ is not in service with the Russian Armed Forces, but it has already been tested in Syria. Only a few drones were produced.

It will be recalled that the Armed Forces of Ukraine showed the smallest Black Hornet Nano drone in action, which weighs 32 grams, for reconnaissance.

Earlier, for the first time, the fighters of TrO shot down the Russian drone ‘Granat-4’ with the inscriptions ‘For peace and the USSR’.
