Poland threatens Ukraine to expand the list of banned Ukrainian products – media

Polish side asks "not to escalate the conflict"

Poland threatens to extend its export ban if Ukraine continues to “escalate the conflict.”

A statement to this effect was made by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, as quoted by Gazeta.pl.

“I warn the Ukrainian authorities: if they escalate the conflict, we will add more products to the ban on exports to Poland,” he said.

Morawiecki recalled Poland’s assistance and emphasized that his country cannot be an “indifferent state.” He added that Poland still believes in Ukraine’s victory and is helping, but the interest of the Poles is the most important for the country.

The Prime Minister noted that the Polish side is ready to continue to help Ukraine, but not at the cost of “destabilizing the Polish market,” so the export embargo will remain in place until cooperation mechanisms are developed.
