Police increase the number of speed cameras to 215 units
Starting August 11, 50 more speed cameras will be launched on the country’s roads.
31 cameras were in operation before the full-scale invasion and will now resume their work, and another 19 monitoring devices will be operational for the first time. The total number of Speedcams in Ukraine will reach 215 as of August 11.
The fine under Art. 122 (Exceeding the established speed limits) of the Code of Administrative Offenses, is:
- for exceeding the speed limit by more than 20 km/h – UAH 340;
- over 50 km/h – UAH 1700.
