Polish company Pronar to enter Ukrainian demining market with new equipment

Pronar, a Polish company specializing in agricultural and municipal machinery, is patenting a special machine for demining fields and construction sites to start mass production for Ukraine in 2024.

This was announced by Radoslaw Bielecki, Pronar’s Director of Trade and Marketing, at the business forum “Ukraine-Poland. Machinery and Equipment Sector”.

“The team of 150 engineers is working very closely with partners in Ukraine to overcome the challenges… mined agricultural fields… to ensure that agricultural machinery has special integrated systems that can handle these challenges.”

Bielecki declined to provide information on the exact characteristics of the machine until the patent procedure is completed.

However, he noted that the vehicle will be automated and can be controlled remotely, and the machines can also be used in fields, construction sites, and other open areas.

In addition, Bielecki emphasized that the new Pronar line is being developed specifically to meet the needs of Ukraine.

“The newest line is shredding machines. They allow us to bring to zero the places where the business will continue to grow in order to prepare locations for new construction.”

Pronar will also provide Ukraine with other equipment, including snow plows, spreaders and sweepers.

Earlier, the Ministry of Economy reported that Ukraine has 30 demining machines, of which 25 are in constant operation.
